So.....
So Sage was hoping for a girl... Ashton was hoping for a boy.... I was hoping for a girl.... and Curtis just wanted a healthy baby. Well... both Ashton and Curtis got their wish. After Sage found out she tried to use all her magical powers by waving her hands in the air and wishing it into a girl ... but alas to her regret it still remained a boy. But on the bright side Sage agreed that she would help take care of it even though it turned out to be a boy. As for the rest of us we are all excited to have this new little one even though that means Sage and I will be out numbered ;) Now for a name.... Boy names are hard!!!
Once Upon a Time (Catching up on History)
Once upon a time not long ago there was a girl. This girl had a home teacher who was a very good home teacher indeed. He gave regular lessons and a treat here and there and the kids loved him so. One day this home teacher looked at the girl and thought to himself, “ I know a man who would be a good match, maybe if I introduce them… just maybe she’ll find him to be a good catch.” A month or two passed and they still had not met but had heard so much about each other. They had common friends and the girl knew one day, she was bound to meet him in some special way. She decided it would be less awkward if she introduced herself, so she wrote him an email addressing herself. It did not take long before the man wrote back with novel of great length. The words he wrote impressed the girl so she continued to write figuring he would be a great friend. Question after question was asked until over a month later they finally had the chance to act. For that girl wanted music and the man had a lot… so one Sunday afternoon they finally met face to face. That girl looked into the eyes of the man she felt she knew, for decades upon decades even though that may not be true. The man looked back and in his hand he held a snowball that came flying before a word had even left his mouth. They found themselves on the couch sharing music for hour upon hour, until the girl had to leave. It did not take long before the two grew fonder and fonder of each other and one Sunny day that man got down on his knees in front of an arch so delicate and neat. He asked that girl if she would be his wife, and asked the kids if it would be ok if he could be their Dad. Everyone had smiles on their face as it was agreed that would be great. Not long after, the two were married, and with this began a new story, of a little family of two boys and girls, they are called the Dudley’s and they love each other more than anything in this world.

Meet the Dudley's
So I figured that I should start a blog to help keep my friends and family updated on the life of the Dudley's. First I would like to introduce our little family.
Curtis is the head of the family. Not only is he the tallest he is also the most outspoken. Curtis works full time at Fidelity Investments, and on his spare time he is a very active member on the local Search and Rescue team. Curtis enjoys doing anything that gives him a rush. To name a few: Motorcycles (both on road and off), scuba diving, rock climbing, repelling, caving, Kite Boarding, skiing, flying planes and Me. Curtis will always tel you what is on his mind and he will tell you exactly how he perceives you or anything else around him. For this reason he is great for getting a straight answer out of a question even though you may not like the answer itself. Curtis is a very passionate person and his family means a lot to him.
Becky is the head woman of the family. She too can be outspoken when needed and is manages to embarrass herself with the words that come out of her mouth on a daily basis. She loves the outdoors for its beauty and peace. With a degree in Range and Wildlife Management she loves to identify both animals and plants. This can and will annoy many people who decide to hike with Becky. Her primary passions are simple. She absolutely adores her family and loves to eat, travel, and have fun. Becky will easily get bored if not enough is going on.
Sage is our oldest daughter. She is 6 years old and very smart and dramatic. Her ability to understand and apply hard concepts is mind boggling. Too bad she does not understand simpler ones like if you clean your room and mind your mom your life will be full of more joy;) Sage will be going into first grade this year and is the social butterfly of the neighborhood.
Ashton is our youngest at only 3 years old. Ashton is a sweetheart. He loves to cuddle, hug and kiss. He is a typical boy that loves cars and building materials. He asks to go jeeping, fishing, and motorcycling all the time. He is constantly reminding us that he is a boy and that he wants to be a MAN!
Lastly there is mystery Dudley. Mystery Dudley is still growing in moms Tummy. Mom is now 18 weeks along with Mystery Dudley and can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl this coming Tuesday. Mystery Dudley is moving around a bit now and seems to be fairly mellow. We will see if that continues.
Oh and before I forget! Gumba is our Amazon Parrot who was once Curtis's bird and is now Sage's Bird. Gumba can be sweet but can be a major pill as well. He bites and screams in the morning and while watching movies. But we must love him anyway because we have not poisoned him with chocolate or avocado yet;)
So thats it! From here on out I will try and post pictures and other interesting facts about this family. Have a great day!
